Community Interest Companies

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a form of Social Enterprise. This means that the directors of the company do not take any profit from the company and therefore the aims and objectives of the company are not profit driven.

As a form of Social Enterprise our aims and objectives are focused solely on the social issues facing our service users, employees and our local community.

As a Community Interest Company our profits will not be paid to our directors as would be the case in a traditional company, but will be reinvested into the company, our services and the community.

Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independant regulator of all of the health and social care services in England.

All home care providers must be registered with the Care Quality Commission.

The CQC's job is to ensure that as a home care provider we meet all of the government standards of quality and safety. They inspect and continually monitor the information they hold about our service.
